As you can imagine with a name like BOOM, our watches can withstand the shocks and scrapes that come with everyday use. That said, we know that if you love your watch as much as we do, you will want to keep it maintained to the highest standard. Here are some simple guidelines to follow:

• Try to avoid extreme shocks. Although we are called BOOM, bomb disposal experts are not our target customer. Our watches are shockproof but please do not test them to destruction.
• Try to avoid prolonged immersion in water. With a rating of 5 ATM, our watches are waterproof to a depth of 50 metres, so don’t worry if you forget to take it off when your date exceeds all expectations and you’re skinny-dipping at 1am. Do be aware that this will wear the leather prematurely, so try to avoid immersing it too frequently.
• When cleaning, use salt water and a soft cloth. Avoid soaps and chemicals that can tarnish the face of your watch. After washing, rinse under clear water and wipe gently with your cloth.
• To give your leather watchstrap the perfect sheen, try mink oil. This is the most widely used product for treating leather, and it is relatively inexpensive.
